Exercise. It's a must.
During Development, I got the urge to move. I ran. I cycled. I walked and walked and walked. And then I stopped. This is a pattern and another example of my all or nothing thinking. I've noticed my expert friend runs three times a week, maximum. It is not obsessional but that habit - and it is a habit - sets her up for the week.
I am still walking but not nearly as much and not nearly as fast. The bike has been parked behind the new extension - out of sight!
And as for the running - like my running kit in the cupboard - I have been busy going nowhere.
According to the LighterLife Blue Bible (aka Route to Management workbook):
"US scientists doing a long-term study of people who are successful weight holders have found that 77 per cent do at least one hour of physical activity every day."
Noted.
I know I keep reading your blog to keep me hanging onto the straight and narrow. Exercise for me is the one shining beacon. The food side is decidely hit and miss. I need to sit down and work out what I'm going to do about it and goals and homework are all going to have to be part of this solution. Thanks for showing me the way and that is has to be done. But when???
Tonight I hope.
Good luck chuck and get those running shoes out!!!! There's no excuse not to head for a 20 minute run....20 minutes, you can do it.

I'm with Lesley, get those running shoes out and get movin'! Even if it's only for 20 minutes at a time. No one said that you have to do all 60 minutes at once! Wait, or did they? Great, now I need to go look that up! lol
Go, go, go!

Go go go! I'm with everyone on this one. You will be amazed at the difference in your energy levels exercising with real food inside as oppose to space food. Take it from one who now knows ;)
My tip is: take your gym stuff *everywhere* My gym bag is like a shell on my back just now. I never ever leave the house without it. Talk about being prepared!! I've been to the gym Sat, Mon, Tues and tonight as a result! My stubborn streak hates the thought of carrying it to work and dragging it back again without using it. I find that more annoying than people talking at the flicks (personal top pet hate).
